The station is wholly supported by our listeners and therefore, volunteer assistance is a vital part of running things here at Spirit Catholic Radio. You can help out GREATLY by volunteering in the area of your interest.

How to Sign Up:

Sign up to volunteer by downloading the Youth Volunteer Application (18 or under) or the Adult Volunteer Application. Once you have filled out the appropriate application please return to us by one of the following:

Volunteer Opportunities:

     Daily Office Volunteer (one or more days of the week, ½ days or full days)

A Daily Office Volunteer's duties would include:

Reception Desk - using a multi-line phone
Tidying up the office
Greeting & Serving our Visitors
Various administrative duties including mailings and inventory
Personal Computer skills are helpful including MSWord and EXCEL

Care-a-thon Volunteer (work on mailings prior to or the week of Care-a-thons)

Assembling mailings prior to Care-a-thon (twice per year)
Answering phones & filling out pledge forms

Sending out acknowledgements for pledges/donations

Download our online application to become a Prayer Support Partner and pray at our Chapel of the Word Incarnate or from home.

As a Prayer Partner we ask that you:

Spend time in Adoration at Spirit Catholic Radio: We are so blessed to have our Chapel of the Word Incarnate where we have scheduled adoration of our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament as follows:

Tuesday, 9-10 am &

Wednesday, 9am - 2pm

And/or

Include Spirit Catholic Radio in your daily prayers.

We invite you to pray for the mission of Spirit Catholic Radio and for the intentions in our basket of Intentions listeners.

Spirit Community Missionaries:

Represent or help recruit others to represent Spirit Catholic Radio in the community, such as in community parades
Millard Days, Benson Days, Ralston Days, etc.
Events for various religious ministries/apostolates

Creighton, College of St. Mary and UNO activities

Spirit Prayer Missionaries:

Special Volunteers who work to spread our mission and presence to nursing homes and assisted living facilities.

Help make radio programs a part of every day life by getting the information to residents
Make sure residents able to get reception of the programs
Encourage elderly to identity themselves as "Spirit Prayer Missionaries" for the mission of Spirit Catholic Radio

Special Events Volunteer (be a part of a project oriented event committee)
Spirit Catholic Radio has various events from time to time where we need a volunteers to be focused on a particular project. The following projects are currently scheduled events:

Spirit Award Dinner
Hosted events at the station

National Catholic speakers

Spirit Catholic Schools Missionaries:

Represent Spirit Catholic Radio at the games we broadcast by hosting drawings and/or distributing T-Shirts & balloons.

Help facilitate the annual Folder Contest
