For the week of August 25th - Sept 1st:
We pray for the success of all the upcoming conferences to be held in the Omah, Lincoln and Des Moines diocese including: Fr. John Corapi, Dr. Ray Guarendi, Fr. Mitch Pacwa & Johnette Benkovich & Christ Our Life Conference with Cardinal Arinze in Des Moines.
Pray that a buyer is found for the 93.7 FM signal in Lincoln.
Pray for a successful upgrade of the Grand Island signal so it can reach Kearney and Hastings. Kickoff celebrations will continue until we reach the goal of $160,000.
We pray for guidance and that people will come forward in Northeast Nebraska to begin broadcasting in the Hartington and surrounding areas. Pray that leaders will come forward to help get the word out and raise $280,000 needed to construct a tower and purchase equipment. We need leadership in the communities and favorable FCC ruling for coverage.
We pray that our eyes remain open to assisting other communities in starting up Catholic Radio. We are in negotiations for a station in North Platte, Nebraska. Total cost is approximately $130,000. Pray for leadership and donors to come forward!
Pray that a buyer is found for the Cozad, Nebraska, home owned by our Engineer, Mark Voris so his family can be reunited with him in Omaha.
Pray for the physical and spiritual health and well-being of the Spirit Catholic Radio staff, board and committee members.
Special prayers for a good friend of the station who was diagnosed with stage IV carsonoma. Bring healing and comfort to him and his family.
